For a majority of the Belgian people, the name of "China" is no more than just an abstract and mythic symbol. However, a group of Belgians had the opportunity and the courage to live there and to experience a totally different culture. We are quite sure that you must be very proud to be one of them.

Students' mobility between Belgium and China made a great contribution to the inter-cultural understanding and friendship between the peoples of the two countries. By the year 2013, 529 Belgians had received Chinese Government Scholarship to study in China, in addition to over one thousand self-funded students.

Now, all the alumni of China in Belgium will have a new "home" - the Belgian Alumni From China Association or BACA! This association is initiated by several active Chinese Alumni in Belgium. It is going to be a new platform to network Belgian graduates who studied in China, and to extend their social network to a wider society. It also aims to strengthen the relation and friendship between China and Belgium, by sharing latest information about China and by sharing experience with the potential students who are planning to study in China, among many more activities.

BACA is a non-profit organization registered in Belgium. Its membership is free of charge.
